Yoga Flow

This is my story how Yoga helped me to create a healthy and happy lifestyle -
and how I started this journey.

My Story
I've always done a lot of sports, like Taekwondo, fitness , soccer or running. I am so full of energy that I always thought Yoga would be too boring and too slow for me.
Yoga is definitely a great way to prevent yourself from mental or physical issues.
Because of my passion for health and well-being I had heard and read a lot about the benefits of yoga...
... and then I tried Yoga the first time. I was surprised. After the class I didn’t just feel very relaxed in my muscles and good in my body - no actually I’ve never felt so peaceful and calm within myself.
I got curious about this new magical sports that makes me feel so empowered and in balance.
…and that’s how I started. I didn’t know a lot about yoga so I went to a lot of different classes and I tried different styles of yoga. And I kept going. I started to build my own daily practice.
In the beginning of 2020 I decided to travel for 8 months. So I packed my backpack and went to the Dominican Republic. I wanted to improve my surf skills.
One day when I went surfing I met some people who told me about surf yoga. I tried it and I fell in love with it. It is just such a beautiful way to improve your surf skills and prepares you physically and mentally for the ocean.
I felt so inspired of the idea, that I promised myself to create my own style of yoga one day.
Afterwards I traveled to Hawaii, where I worked at an ecological meditation center on the Big Island of Hawaii. Practicing Yoga and meditation everyday, living off the grid. Planting and harvesting the food we ate. I met so many inspiring people there. They told me about heir experiences with Yoga. I realized how much Yoga can heal - myself and others. And then I knew:
I want to do my Yoga Teacher Training. I want to share the gift of Yoga with the world.
Therefore I went to Costa Rica - in the Jungle of Uvita I completed my 200 hours teacher training. After that I continued to travel in Central America: Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador and Panama.
In Panama i worked on the Red Frog Island for Selina Hostel. And this was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever taught my classes. A yoga deck in the jungle with sloths and monkeys, the sounds of the jungle and a beautiful view.
Back in Munich i completed my yoga therapy training to learn more about how to prevent people from mental and physical issues and how to help them to find their own unique practice to heal.
Before I started with yoga, I had been insecure and I hadn't been loving and respectful with my body or myself. I had trusted other people more than I had trusted myself.
Yoga has given me so much confidence and body awareness. Practicing Yoga and changing my mindset in a yogic way, helped me to discover parts of me I didn't even know about.
I deeply believe everyone in this fast living world needs some kind of Yoga practice to stay healthy and happy.
My goal is share my passion of Yoga and self-empowerment with people all over the world.
